Liubov Bondarenko

Lyubov Bondarenko

I wish to be strong in deed and prayer,

Yet understand that I am weak in all, And without Him I cannot stand in battle, Though I am now no longer slave to sin…

[Biographical note: Born in Sakhalin; her maternal grandparents were exiled from Ukraine to Siberia, and after the Japanese War her mother came to Sakhalin. She began composing verses long before she could write, so early poems were lost. In 1986 she moved to Ukraine, considering it her historical homeland. In 1999 she was baptized by full immersion and vowed to God to dedicate His gift for His glory. Since then she writes daily, for He grants true inspiration. Liubov is glad to serve people with her gift. She has published ten collections of poems dedicated to the Lord.]
