Have You Ever Given Thanks?

Liubov Berdysheva

Have you ever given thanks To the Creator for your life and breath? That you have shelter in your ranks, That sight and hearing follow death?

For sunlight bright through window pane, For birdsong and awakening nature's way, For daily bread that does sustain, And for your spirit's natal day?!

Have you given thanks to Him For friends and family that you hold? A House where prayers are not dim? That you're not lonely, sad, or cold…

Give thanks! For all things, give your praise! More often bend your knees before His throne! Let God transform your nights and days! To Him most Worthy, raise your moan!
