In Times of Evil and Despair

Aleksei Dunaev

In times of evil and despair, When hope seems absent everywhere, Worn out by roads we've traveled through, Man cries aloud: "Where are you, who?"

The Lord, the great, omnipresent One, Who calls us all to turn, to shun, Draws us from darkness into light, And calls our name: "Where are you, child?"
