Praise the Creator

Praise the Lord, all people, for He is good! His mercies and compassion in wondrous deeds! The Creator is great on earth and in the heavens! Sing with your lips the praises of the King and in your hearts!

And His kingdom, the kingdom of endless ages, Saves us through the blood of Christ from our sins! As a gift—eternal life, we—without chains! His love is unconditional and eternal.

Praise, glorify, sing the praises of the Creator— His glory's magnitude knows no ending or greater! Open the eyes of your heart—let your eyes see The preëternal glory, His miracles free.

*The Power of the Cross* (1 Corinthians, Chapter 1)

For those being saved, the Cross is God's power divine. For worldly wise men, the Cross is a foolish sign. The Jews always crave for wonders to see! Greek fleshly wisdom leads nowhere, you see!

But for all the called, Jesus of Nazareth stands— The Messiah Himself, God's Son, King of all lands. And God does not choose what is wise in this hour To shame the wise men, though they boast of their power.

And He called not the noble, nor the mighty and strong, To nullify all that the world lauds along. So that flesh may never boast in any way, For Christ became all things for the chosen, I say!

He is wisdom from heaven, holiness, peace, and love. Brought sanctification, redeemed us thereof. So fill your heart and lips with His praise evermore, And glory in Christ alone, to God the Father's door!

Eternal Living God, accept our adoration, Receive magnanimity, power, glory, and honor's call For the joys, the spiritual blessings and consecration Which mortals like us could never count at all.

You did not leave us perishing in despair, To our first parents You gave hope's light, With love eternal drew all suffering to care, Sent salvation in the Lamb—in Jesus Christ.

And before the world's foundation, it was given— Election in the Son, the Lord of all creation, Sonship in the Beloved for us has been riven According to the good pleasure of His intention.

In Jesus's blood redemption is bestowed, Forgiveness of sins through His grace so free, The Holy Spirit of wisdom overflowed— The pledge of the inheritance for you and me.

That we might be holy before Him without blemish And live in the love perfect, as He does show, Forever fruitful, fresh, and abundantly replenish The fine linen robes that God has given below.
