God Is Love

God is love, love, love, Love in the tenderest of words… In the soft breath of the breeze The Father's hand caresses us.

He is the source of holy love. Drink freely, rejoice, and take: In the Gospel He is concealed, Life He grants to all believers.

Christ the Messiah, God's own Son, The Father's love through death revealed. Read the pages of holy words— Each verse breathes love divine.

And then we wish to create All goodness everywhere, always— This the Father works in us both, The Son and Holy Ghost as one.

Love will teach us, will convict, Will correct, establish truth, And lead us to perfection's height, To live in love where God resides.
