Nadezhda Khrapova

She was born on February 11, 1957, in the city of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Her father, Nikolai Petrovich Khrapov, was a Church minister, a long-term prisoner for the Word of God, author of the trilogy "The Happiness of a Lost Life," many poems and epic poems. In the Khrapov family, each day began with prayer and singing. In this house, they sang all the time. From childhood, Nadezhda loved the Church and God's people. She entered into a covenant with the Lord in 1972, at the age of 15. Her mother, Elizaveta Andreevna, loved poetry very much, had several handwritten notebooks-collections with poems, and often read them at gatherings. Nadezhda Nikolaevna herself was never particularly fascinated with poems. Poetry came to her unexpectedly, relatively recently, in 2005; apparently, the sense of words was inherited from her parents. Sister Nadezhda heartily thanks the Lord for this gift, for every line given to her, and prays to God that her poems would become comfort and blessing to readers.
