Raindrops from Heaven

Nadezhda Khrapova

Raindrops fall from heaven above Upon the parched and thirsty ground, The farmer's heart swells with love For these small drops, so precious found!

Raindrops fall from heaven's store Into the soul grown weak and worn… Raindrops fall forevermore… Just still your heart and heed their born.

In these small drops, God's mercy flows, His grace descends upon my need, With them my strength in spirit grows To bear all trials, all hardship's creed.

These saving drops the soul sustains, It thirsts for them, it cries for more, In this life-giving, healing rains The spirit wakes as once before.

Raindrops fall and fill the air, Renewing all that lies around, Sweet moments of His answered prayer— The Lord's own gift, in drops we've found.
