Let it spring forth like a fountain from my heart, Rising to the very edges of the sky, Let my heartfelt song impart Joy to all who pass me by.
Let my eyes sparkle with happiness bright, So that all around can see That I do not live in vain in this life, That Jesus is my Shepherd and Friend to me!
I met with Him long ago, And I harbor no regret. His strong and faithful friendship I know, A bond I'll never forget.
Let my songs and verses entwine Into one magnificent bouquet! I sing of Christ's Love divine— Nothing compares in any way!
While my heart still beats its sound And while I live upon this earth, Let my hymn to my Lord resound, Never ceasing, of infinite worth!
