The Boundless Mercy of the Lord

Nadezhda Khrapova

The boundless mercy of the Lord, The boundless mercy of the Lord, The grace of Jesus Christ so pure, I cannot praise as I would, I'm assured, Yet endless hymns my lips will pour!

On that dreadful Golgotha's height In agony He died for me, He opened doors to endless light, Where love awaits eternally.

Choirs of angels without cease Raise their voices to Christ who bore the pain, Yet He desires to hear from me, From me He seeks his praise again.

He longs to hear my prayers ascend, My songs are pleasing to His ear, Therefore with deepest reverence I bend, And offer up my thanks sincere.

Though my prayers are clumsy, weak, and small, And my song rings out of tune, Yet praise to You, O Lamb of all, I'll sing forever, ever soon!
