So Then, These 12 Characteristics of a Spiritually Successful Woman

Our first qualities are drawn from Chapter 5 of the First Epistle to Timothy, which addresses care for widows. Here are presented the criteria for a pious woman—a widow who receives aid from the church. We read in verse 10:

"...well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of the Lord's people, helping those in trouble and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds."
