A Blessed Idea

Soon after our new church was built, many members began to ponder how best to spread the gospel and bring God's Word to those unable to attend our weekly gatherings. Indeed, as we were the only Russian-speaking Baptist church in Sacramento, many were in need of us. And one day, at a pastors' meeting, my uncle Misha (my father's brother) was struck by a blessed idea – he proposed recording Christian radio broadcasts for Russian-speaking believers living in Northern California. This brilliant thought was immediately approved by the entire church leadership and its members, and the work began.
