Vera Kyrychenko

Vera Kyrychenko was born in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. She repented at the age of 16. At that time, her father was serving as a presbyter of the local church. She was baptized the following year. She lived in Kyiv for two years, where she began to try writing poems. She read poems at church services. A little later, when her own poems began to acquire a certain style, she read them in large gatherings and small groups. At first, these were verses for youth fellowships, for friends on birthdays. After moving to America in 2001, Vera Kyrychenko began writing poems for the church newspaper. The changes and complexities of life were often reflected in poems that expressed the state of her heart. In 2019, she released her first collection of poems, which she called "Maple Leaf." She is currently preparing a second collection for publication.
