Christ and the Samaritan woman
Christ and the Samaritan woman at the well; She came to scoop up water. She was tired of fighting lust; I was looking for an easy path to happiness in life.
She looked where everyone was looking for him; It seemed that happiness was nearby, just around the corner. And I understood: people condemned That she brought her husband into the house again.
And every time hope came to life, And after a while there is emptiness again; And I didn’t know how to fill the void, Until she met Christ.
He asked for water to drink And it was as if I had read the book of life... It was impossible to hide from the truth, But His gaze did not condemn Him at all.
He said there was another source He claimed that there is another life, Where grace flows its streams, So as not to go to earthly wells.
She left the waterpot and fled, To tell people about the Messiah And the meeting with Christ was the beginning, Where the heart was crushed by grace.
