Don't be afraid to give up ideas

Vera Kyrychenko

Don't be afraid to give up ideas That grew out of grief; Don't be afraid to turn your back on your friends Who breathes and lives amidst condemnation.

Don't be afraid if you need to turn From the road, where it is convenient and familiar; I want to step over my “I want”, And do what is not always logical.

Don't talk, but believe in grace, That the Word of God is active and living. So that, while reading, you can accept with your heart, So that the future does not frighten us.

Remind yourself that on earth We are for a short time, but forever with God, So that the brush does not write on the wall: You took the high road.

Don't be afraid of temptation, day after day Victory does not come without suffering; God promises: we'll rest soon And let’s lay down the burden of earthly experiences.
