Nina Tikhonina

Nina Tikhonina (maiden name Savisko) was born in Ukraine, but lived in the Caucasus, in the city of Sukhumi, from the age of one month. In 1974, she married, had children, and devoted herself entirely to family matters. Since childhood, she loved poetry, but only after age fifty did she dare to write poetry. This creative impulse coincided with her move to America, to Sacramento, where Nina currently lives and continues to delight readers with her poems. Read the author's poems.
