I Have Learned Simple Truths

I have learned these truths so simple: monasteries cannot save the mass! Yet all around a spiritual wasteland, someone must go forth to that barren grass!

There must be a spiritual guide who leads, one willing to abandon comfort's nest. Entreat the Master of the harvest's needs, to send forth workers for the quest!

To send forth workers to the fields of grain, to missionary fields so white! To send forth people now... Or would it rain...? Or... Could that worker be... myself tonight...?
