The Righteous Flourishes Like a Palm

Vladymyr Ulchenkov

The righteous flourishes like a palm tree, rises up like cedar on Lebanon's height. The wicked man flees though none pursues him; but the righteous is bold as a lion's might.

I am not sad, I do not grieve, I will not compromise my way. The righteous flourishes like a palm tree, grows upward like a cypress ray.

He has the patience to sustain him, to master every cry and rage. His character is strong within him— the righteous, lion-bold and sage!

The righteous man is usually cheerful— he forgives the one who caused him pain, he cannot live without his music and sorrow does not long remain.

This is, in principle, quite normal, to grow both upward and down likewise. The righteous flourishes like a palm tree, tall as cypress toward the skies!
