The Point of No Return

Natalyia Lansere

We all approach someday, inevitably, The point from which there is no return. To the place where all ropes are severed, And the way back exists no more.

The point where doubts have come to ending, No return to the life that was, To the feelings, deeds, and all relations— From this point we cannot flee.

However far back you may turn your gaze, You cannot journey backward anymore. Your fuel will not suffice, Your water supply runs dry.

And it matters not to know now "whence," Each minute precious beyond measure. Before you lie tasks that are new, The past remains behind.

In this point—the peak of intersection, Where different dimensions have clashed, Life with death, faith and doubt, God's gaze, and Satan's breath...

This point bears the name Golgotha, This place of meeting with God's Life, You will die, resurrecting with Life anew, So come the sons of God!

This is the point of highest battle, The place of greatest pressure borne, Here victory or defeat awaits, This is the breaking point, the sharp edge,

We all approach someday, inevitably, The point from which there is no return. To the place where all ropes are severed... So boldly cross it, do not fear!
