Tear Off This Roof

Natalyia Lansere

Tear off the roof of this small, This ancient, weathered house! All Israel has left the wall To speak of the Word—a crowd, a spouse!

"Logos" in human flesh appears, Yet still the people understand not... Some frown with dark and doubtful ears, While others hold their breath, distraught...

But for me—tear off the roof! I struggle to get deep inside, Where I might see Him as my proof, For Him I specially need to confide!
