Psalm 121

Konstantyn Honcharov

1. A Song of Ascents. I lift my eyes unto the hills, From whence shall come the help that my heart wills.

2. My help shall come from God the Lord Most High, Who made the earth beneath and all the sky.

3. He will not let thy foot be moved or fall, Thy keeper slumbers never, never all;

4. Behold, He slumbers not who keeps the rest— The Guardian of Israel, forever blessed.

5. The Lord thy Keeper is, the Lord thy shade, Upon thy right hand, ever near, He's stayed.

6. By day the sun shall never smite thy face, The moon by night shall bring no harm or trace.

7. From every evil God shall guard thy soul, The Lord shall keep thy going, keep thee whole.

8. The Lord shall guard thy coming and thy way, Thy going out, thy coming in, for aye— From this time forth and evermore, His care shall stay.
