Heavenly Father, Creator of All Universe!
Heavenly Father, Creator of all universe! For me You send the breaking dawn… Before You I fall down upon my knees, That You might answer to my prayer withdrawn.
The first of duties: contemplation Of the heavens—better seen from earth below. I grow hushed from early morning waiting For words that might Your glory show.
I turn to You in lines of praising, Quiet, in whispers, my God, to You I call. If You inspire this sacred raising, I wish to praise You in verse and in all.
The reflections of Your heavenly voices— I do not seek to grasp them in my soul. And then a poem comes by its own choices… Though, truth be told, it came before it stole.
The day that comes with all its clamoring, I trust that I shall live with You throughout. You teach me how to share love's clamoring, For I know well—You are Love, no doubt.
