On the Topic of Youth Communion

Soslan Botyev

When you can bear no more to live Without God midst corruption's sway, Flee worldly snares and then forgive— To Christ in penitence now give Your life, that He may make it new each day.

When in the church you dwell in flesh: By habit bound, your mind stays small, Now sloth consumes you, now distress, To worldly folk a sectary's mess, To holy ones—of flesh you're thrall— You need to be remade afresh.

Though in temptations burn and blaze Your soul, as pepper-seared it be, Endure; for wisdom always says: God works through fire's transforming blaze With hearts grown humble finally.

By Scripture's Word refresh your mind, And ruin shall depart from you. Keep growing, leave your past behind, And harvests rich you'll someday find— The Spirit's fruits, forever true!
