Vitaliy Sorokun graduated with honors from the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​at Kharkiv State University in 1997 and from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy of Ukraine in 1999. In 2009, he defended his PhD dissertation on "International Legal Protection of the Right to Freedom of Conscience and Religion." He is an Associate Professor in the Department of International Law at the National Law University (Kharkiv). He is a professional translator and the author of scientific publications, textbooks, and a monograph.
