She was born in the city of Shagala – Vitebsk, Belarus, where heroes soared in the skies along with birds. So from my youth, I wrote poems and soared as well. I was looking for answers to Eternal questions about God and the Meaning of Life... I graduated from the Institute of Technology, but went to work in the central library to find answers. Poetry, especially Marina Tsvetaeva's, her sincerity and humanity, sank into my soul... I was also shocked by Mayakovsky, his "Cloud in Trousers" and "If stars are lit then somebody needs them?..." Poetry is, of course, the Voice of the Soul! In 1999, I left for a spiritual community in the USA, for the last 12 years I have been living on the ancient Shumash Land, in a small mountain town Ojai, between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. I live by nature and poems. For the past year, I have been especially inspired by the ocean, its vastness, eternity, and beauty.
