Mom’s life turned out in such a way that she, the same age as the October Bolshevik Revolution, had to experience and endure in excess what all generations of Christians went through in a country that rejected God, persecuted His followers and dreamed of building a paradise on earth without Him. A similar desire was diagnosed by King David: “The fool said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” (Ps. 13:1).
“Madman”... That is, in people who have rejected their Creator, the organ that performs thought processes does not work quite adequately. And, as a consequence of this, not only countless compatriots, but also entire nations had to endure brutal decades in this universal, ruthless, insane and bloody lottery.
Heaven didn't happen. Happens. After all, atheism is an all-encompassing disintegration. Economic, cultural, family, moral... And it was necessary, amid such wild chaos and stupid despair, to keep oneself pure, not to lose faith in one’s Creator. How can you preserve your integrity in this mud? How to endure not only physical, but also moral suffering? Where can I find patience so as not to grumble about my lot? Who will support and strengthen you in the tightness of life? Only God. After all, He said: “I am the Lord, and there is no Savior besides Me” (Is. 43:11).
