Rejoice in the Lord and Be Glad

Eduard Kurat

I rejoice, rejoice in God, I dwell by His flowing streams, On His holy, gentle sod, Christ has given me such dreams!

I rejoice, I rejoice, though wind Continues breaking down the trees. The Lord is strongest—this I've sinned To doubt—I rest beneath His peace!

Rejoice, rejoice, do not fear What judgment man may cast your way. Look upward and be of good cheer. God loves you unconditionally, I say!
