Hope never fades away. Svitlana Iotko (Zavgorodnya) was born on November 24, 1983 in the town of Dnipro, Ukraine. She graduated from the economics department of the Budivel Academy in Dnipro and studied English language and television journalism. When Svetlana turned 17, she made a conscious decision to follow Christ. The first collection of poems “I am free” was released in 2019. A record of these verses was set to music and became songs. In the spring of 2021, my husband Svyatoslav and his three children moved to the USA, near the city of Sacramento, and launched the motivational program “Garni People” on local radio. In 2022, Svetlana’s poems were included in the “New Hours” almanac.
