CHRISTIAN ALPHABET

A—these are the angels of heaven, Who praise God in a wondrous song. And in the manger sleeps a Child— For salvation, for our life. Thus the Lord had planned Before the world came to be. A—Adam, the first man, Who received dominion on earth Over the fish of the seas, Over the beasts of the earth, And the birds too were subject to him, All reptiles and insects as well.

B—this is God, He is our Father, Good Father and Creator. B—the Bible, sacred book, Reveals to us Christ.

V—this is the Universe: heaven, stars, Unfathomable expanses all. V—the rainbow, sign of covenant. When the sun shines in the sky And at the same time rain pours down— Then the rainbow smiles.

G—this is sin, that wounded the world. Did not keep the commandment— Adam ate fruit in the garden. God did not command it.

Ґ—this is a porch. Every morning, As soon as dawn breaks, Pray to the Creator— And you will know the Father in Him.

D—this is a tree in the garden. I go only to do good.

E—Eden, garden of delights.

Ye—this is Eve who walks in the garden. Zh—she is the wife of Adam. Eve is the mother of all mankind.

Z—this is a cunning ancient serpent, He is a tempter and evildoer.

Z—the Law, by which is known That the human heart is sinful.

Y—seek such words, That would begin with "y."

I—Jesus—the Savior of the world, Who conquered by His death.

Yi—this is Jethro, Moses' father-in-law. He gave his son-in-law an idea To choose wise elders, To administer justice.

Y—this is Jonah—he fled from God. K—this is a whale that swallowed him. L—these are beautiful lilies. God clothes them carefully. Solomon was not clothed so, Though he was very magnificent.

L—the True Vine, beautiful, It bears fruit faithfully. It yields grapes abundantly, So grows God's garden. "I am the Vine, and you are the branches," Jesus said once.

M—this is a city on a hill, Visible in the distance. Good works are also visible thus, God is glorified without end!

M—prayer, it is conversation, Given to us for this reason, To speak with the Lord, To praise and glorify Him.

N—beautiful feet of those Who bring good news of God. Many roads they will walk, To gain sinners for Christ.

O—clean white garments. The faithful of God are clothed in them, In them they go to the wedding feast, Into heaven they shall enter.

P—this is a preacher of God, Calls to the narrow way, Proclaims God's Word, Turns all to truth.

P—this is a bird, flying high. God's eye sees it. He sends it food in time, And cares for us even more.

R—this is joy, that is given When God saves the heart. R—this is a slave, servant of Christ. His goal is always simple— To please the Lord, To serve faithfully and devotedly.

S—a neighbor, in the middle of the night Wants to treat his friend. But he has nothing at all, So he begs his neighbor To open his door to him, To share bread with his neighbor.

T—this is Timothy, a servant, Who strove to please God, For from childhood he was taught And relied on God.

U—good God's statutes Will help us live holy. U—these are disciples-Christians, Who desire to know God's plans, Who reach to the ends of the earth, To proclaim salvation.

F—the cunning Pharisee, Superior to common people. He thinks he knows God, But does not accept Jesus.

F—foundation in a building. When fierce winds blow, The home will not fall, Where a strong foundation stands. Whoever builds with Jesus, Will never regret it!

Kh—this is the cross. There, on Golgotha, They crucified the Son of God. Ts—terrible great nails, Were driven into hands and feet Of the Son of God for us. Through suffering He saved us.

Ch—this is time, which passes And never returns. Time should be valued, Living holy for Jesus!

Sh—this is a path, narrow and thorny, That leads to heaven pure. Jesus called Himself the way, So that no one would be lost.

Shch—this is happiness—to know God And to dwell with Him forever.

Yu—a young man, he knows how To resist attacks, That the deceiver sends. He studies God's Word.

Ya—this is "I"—a simple person, Whether grown or child. Whether small or great, But when I pray and am quiet— I am heard by good God. I sincerely believe in Him!

Ya—these are the manger, there the Savior Began the salvation of the world.
