Presence
I will come to You, my primordial Rabbi. Like Maria, I will sit quietly to the bottom. You will tell me how the dew flutters on the grass, Let me rejoice for the heart. Explain to me what caused the tears, How do the tractors carry their loads, How to turn the leleki back in the spring To an old dried pear. I will drink to You, I will learn from You, How You are widely worshiped. My Lord and Savior, my Shepherd Jesus, Your gracious words are peace. You reveal the secrets of Your habitation And you will allow me to enter behind the curtain, So that I can appreciate the glory of the heavenly grains, Thy scepter and Thy holy robe. I will nourish you as love comes to your heart, How can I go to worship? I will pay for the eternal cover, What increases faith in salvation. You open up new horizons for me, So that I would know the holy chambers. I will take up Your words, my good Rabbi, How to draw water from a spring.
