Lift Your Soul to Heaven

Lift your soul up to the heavens high, And offer grateful will in prayer's care. Ask not from God for miracles to fly, But praise the Savior with a heart most fair.

For fate that God has given in your days, For blood in which your sins are washed away, For futures spent with Him in endless praise, And gentle poppies in the golden hay.

For life within this world that you are given Through grace and mercy of the Creator's hand, So carry gratitude deep in your heart's driven, That it may never cease or ever stand.

And God will give you all you truly need— Just take it as from His own loving hand. And let this truth forever plant its seed— Your years are held within His will's command.
