Why Does War in Ukraine Divide People More Than the Radical Gospel?

Why does war in Ukraine divide people, it would seem, more than the radical Gospel of Jesus Christ? Because it has become a test of adequacy, true identity and decency first of all of Christians, and then of all others... A simple moral question of assessment and condemnation of the crimes of a chronic liar, tyrant and killer, as well as the actions of his zombified horde, revealed the absence of adequacy, evangelical identity, faith, courage and decency in those who consider themselves citizens of heaven. The temptation of false prophets instilled faith in a false messiah and false feats in the name of "freedom and good." And here is the question: into what cracks of mind, conscience and soul did this lie crawl? How and why did Christians manage to sleep through and swallow the poison of lies and propaganda, "seeing" fascists and Banderites in Ukraine, and "liberators" and "warriors of good" in Russia? How, even after obvious terrible and inhuman brutalities, rapes and murders, do "Christians" continue to believe that Ukrainians rape and kill themselves, destroy their own cities while "warriors of good" destroy military facilities with precision weapons, all the while continuously accusing Ukraine and her Christians of fakes and lies? What has happened to the minds, consciences, faith and fear of God in the hearts of these people? Why did atheist Nevzorov prove to be more adequate, braver and compassionate than most Z-converted ones?

THE TEMPTATION... Besides agnosticism, there are many heresies that seek to turn us from Christ and His sufficiency. For this reason the apostle Paul wrote in his epistle to the Colossians, 2:4: "Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words." And today this is evident in Russia, in her general belief in the myth of the "liberating mission of her false messiah and liar" from fascism, Nazism, NATOism and all other terrible "isms." The communities in Russia seem to have gone mad... They believe Solovyov, Skabeyeva and other propagandists, workers of hell, those who kindle hatred and murder instead of trusting their fellow believers in assessing what is happening beyond their country and in particular in Ukraine... Even Z-emigrants all over the world have become proselytes of Russian propaganda, of the "false messiah" and "false mission." Having set Russian flags on their avatars they cry to Ukrainians: "Christians, don't get into politics — it's wrong..." One can only imagine the devil's smile as he looks at such "followers" of Christ, who finish off the saints of Ukraine with their propaganda refrains about eight years of terror in Donbas, gay parades, fascists, fakes and so on. To the point of shamelessness, clearly ignoring the fact that it is precisely Russia that has terrorized Ukraine for more than eight years, seizing territories of this state, kindling war, and ultimately openly invaded its territory with false slogans and a mission. They are "perfectly versed" in the politics of Ukraine, in the causes and goals of the war, but when I condemn moral evil and the crimes of the KGB regime in our country, they write to me: "Don't get into politics, we must be above politics"! Hypocrites and liars... This is exactly how God's Word defines you... Ukraine has its own problems and sins of the people, which the Ukrainian Church prays about and which it BOLDLY condemns... Christians of Ukraine have never been silent in their response to moral and visible evil in the country... And now think about it... Those who accuse the victim of violence that she deserved it herself, and justify the rapist — are before God criminals and accomplices of this evil. "He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord" (Proverbs 17:15). Here is God's assessment of the actions of Z-Christians and advocates of evil... It is in this approval of moral evil, belief in deception and false accusations that you need to repent before God, before Christians and before the people of Ukraine... The transformation of the Russian church into a "rashist" and Putinite one has dishonored Christ and His Message! By what can one justify today the respect for Stalin, murderer of millions of people and Christians? How can one believe "Beria's grandson," who destroys another's country with the sincere face of a "savior of the world"? Z-hysteria has seized Christians and created a Z-church of adepts of the imperial spirit and a special "Russian truth"! Without repentance and return to Christ, such "Christianity" is doomed.

COWARDICE AND ABSENCE OF COURAGE — this is another problem of those who partly understand the sin of their state and rulers, but do not express clearly their position and fear to call moral evil — evil... Their measure of courage is a private message "I don't approve..." instead of saying aloud: "I condemn this war and consider killings in another's country evil..." And you don't even need to do it in squares, but express your position aloud in the circle of your friends and in church... Faithfulness to Christ, the radical Gospel and truth will always cost dear... One must remember that thirty pieces of silver jingle differently at different times... Thank you that you at least do not condemn and do not try to play Job's friends...

True unity in Christ and brotherhood is and manifests in very difficult and unclear days... I want to thank for true unity in the Body and for those whose identity is in the Son, His truth and the common ability of His children to call things by their names.

Brothers and sisters of Russia, who today are filled with Christ's love, sorrow, honesty, prayers and support, we value infinitely, love you and look forward to the honor of embracing you in due time. Thank you for courage, position, decency and steadfastness... This trial you are passing honorably, and we are with you in spirit... He Who lives in us will give courage and strength to endure all to the end... Shine as lights in the world of darkness... War... Behind this word in my consciousness were films where simple boys become tough guys, and bad guys suffer defeat, and in the end, of course, justice, good and love triumph. Basically that is how cinema represents most films about war, depicting romantic heroism and joyful happy endings. At the same time, usually in an hour and a half the whole drama ends, and we breathe easy, forming in ourselves some taste of "fun" from the very concept of "war." Perhaps it is precisely such, used to such propaganda, boys (up to 60 years old) who agree to participate in a mad adventure leading to swift death, disability and mental inadequacy to the end of their days.

In reality, war is unspeakable horror, which reveals the true content of the human soul, laying bare all the tragedy and depth of Eden's fall with its destructive consequences.
