Heart of a wounded bird

Nadezhda Harkusha

Heart like a wounded bird, A burning candle Aspires to the blue sky, Where is peace and home.

A look saturated with melancholy And in a minor key the song of the soul... Moment, the last line Don't disturb the silence!

Life is like steam, like a short dream, Whether I was in it or not... Days are like sound, like songs notes Human destiny.

But one day, waking up, I will see a door in front of me... The One Who Opened will say quietly: “Enter your home now!”

And easily, without regret In a moment I will leave the earthly world, With a heart full of admiration I’ll whisper: “I’m going home!”

I'll come in and take it with me Only one Love of Christ. Behind is the Earth with a thunderstorm, And beyond the door is heaven!
