A few words about Moscow and hemp: the “Friendship of Peoples” fountain is one of the symbols of not only VDNKh (Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy), but also of Moscow. It was created in 1954 and is known to every resident of the country. In the center of the fountain there is a giant sheaf, 7.4 meters high, made of wheat, sunflowers and... hemp. Around the sheaf are 16 gilded girls, symbolizing the Soviet republics.
In the USSR, hemp was one of the main agricultural crops. A lot of things were made from it - paper, fabric, ropes and all sorts of different things. Then crops dropped sharply. For comparison: in the Soviet years, one million hectares of hemp were grown, and later no more than 4.5 thousand. Other names for hemp: cannabis, marijuana, hashish.
The ban on marijuana was adopted at the international level by a UN convention back in 1961, according to which hemp, its derivatives, as well as extracts and tinctures from it were included in “List 1” of the list of narcotic drugs. Recently, some countries in Europe and America have legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes; it is prescribed to relieve severe pain.
Let's go back to our church and cannabis. Who could sow the grass- infection? Maybe those same boys? Drug addicts even manage to grow it on their balcony in flower pots. Or maybe “sizzling”? Hardly. Most likely, utility workers brought it with soil; this was noticed that year in other places and cities. Now no one will know...
The enemy has sowed. “While the people were sleeping, the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went away.” Darkness wants to drown out the light.
Dostoevsky wrote: “Here the devil fights with God, and the battlefield is the hearts of people.” The devil does not fight with God, because in this fight he is doomed to defeat, he fights with us. If we choose the Winner rather than the vanquished, our heart can transform from a battlefield into a Garden of Eden.
Help, Lord, many young people addicted to drug addiction to win on the battlefield, trust in You and gain freedom.
And under the windows lies white, white snow, And the Lord walks through the white snow. And whenever you come to your doorstep (Leaving here, staying here) He walks through the snow, tireless God, So that you can see that there is a road.
