Vladimir Ulchenkov came to the Lord from the world in the early 90s, repenting in the central Moscow ECB (Evangelical Christian Baptist) church. He was baptized by immersion according to his faith in the central Kharkiv church “Transfiguration” in 1997. He studied at the DCE (bachelor’s degree) and at the MTS (Moscow Theological Seminary) for a master’s degree. He served as a pastor-missionary in the Tula and Kostroma regions. Vladimir Nikolaevich is also the founder of the Kharkiv group of Christian poets “Boldness.” He published three collections of poems by Christian authors: “In the Beginning,” “Diamond Placers,” “My New Poems.” The author was a nominee, laureate, and diploma winner of international poetry competitions. Member of the Russian Writers’ Union. Finalist of the national literary award “Poet of the Year.” He was included in the collection “200 Poets” of 2018. Published in the collection “Anthology of Russian Poetry” of 2020. Awarded four medals of the RWU (Russian Writers’ Union). Currently serving as a preacher, he lives in the Smolensk region. He is married and has two daughters.
