Natalia Shevchenko is a poet, composer, director, and TV/radio host. She was born in November 1976, in Russia, in the Krasnodar region. She began writing poetry at the age of 9. She graduated from the University of Culture and Arts in Krasnodar, where she received higher education and a specialization as a director. She came to faith in God at the age of 18, in 1995. She is a laureate of the international TV festival “Save and Preserve.” She has produced several Christian plays that reveal the truth of the Gospel. She worked in television in the city of Armavir, where for 7 years she created an educational children’s program.
For a long time, she hesitated to bring her poems to light. But after moving to the USA in 2013, Natalia published her first collection of poems. In the same year, the poet’s website was created: www.tashapsalom.com. In 2012, she began to compose music for her poems, which gave birth to songs, the most famous of which are: “And the Sky Cries,” “To Those Laughing Now,” “On That Day,” “Mother’s Love,” and others. In 2014, she founded the children’s project “Important Stories”: bright books for children. She is engaged in video production of Christian clips and sketches for broadcasting on her YouTube channel (Natalia Shevchenko’s Creative Works), and also collaborates with TV channels “Impact,” CNL, “Emmanuel,” and others. Her books have been translated into English and German and are published in different countries.
