Aleksandr Savchenko

Savchenko Alexander Petrovich is a doctor and theologian, clergyman, poet and writer, author of bestsellers “Diamonds of Thought,” “A Christian Doctor’s Companion,” “Treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge,” “Pearls of Experience,” numerous collections of poems and stories. He was born in 1952 in the city of Zhdanov (now Mariupol). The years of youth and creative formation of the poet were spent in the Leningrad region. Here he graduated from the Medical Pediatric Institute, was a minister in the local Evangelical Christian Baptist church, here he met his wife – Tatiana Ivanovna, who gave him six children. He lives in Mariupol.
