Konstantin Shishkin
He was born in 1970 in Ukraine, in the city of Vinnytsia. The family was non-believing. “My mother repented, and after 5 years literally prayed me out from God,” says the author. Konstantin himself repented at the age of 30 and accepted Jesus Christ into his heart, entered into a covenant with God. A year after believing, God sent him a bride from the USA, from the city of Sacramento, named Lena. He was going to go to the USA to get married, but ended up in prison – for past sins that he had committed before repentance. After serving 1 year and 8 months in prison, he got out and married the bride whom God had given him. Lena lived for two years in Ukraine, but then, when she was preparing to become a mother, returned to Sacramento, where she gave birth to a daughter, Nastenka. The whole family reunited in 2009, when Konstantin, having successfully overcome the process of so-called naturalization, came to his wife in Sacramento. He and his wife became members of the local Bright church. In 2010, they had a second daughter – Lilya. In church, Viktor was offered to study at a Christian college, and he enthusiastically took up his studies. After graduating, he began preaching in his local church, as well as participating in prison ministry. He began writing books on Christian themes. Currently, 4 books under his authorship are already ready. Now Konstantin is working on a new book: “Active and Living Church.”
