About book

The book you are now holding in your hands came into being thanks to the efforts of a person whose kind heart was touched by the story of a Christian woman named Eunice, who worthily endured many severe trials in her life. Miervaldis Dreyers, a parishioner of the First Baptist Church in Sacramento, read this book by Isabella Alden in English. Much in it caused direct associations with how relationships in some Christian families are still unfairly and unrighteously built. And although more than a hundred years have passed since the described events, the situations and many details were recognizable. Miervaldis undertook the translation of the book “Unto The End,” showed the results of his work to friends, and their opinion was unanimous: “It must be published”… Now this story, titled “To the End,” is available to Russian-speaking readers along with other books by Isabella Alden, which remain extremely popular to this day: “Esther Ried,” “Julia Ried,” “Tim and His Lamp.” It tells the story of a rural pastor’s daughter who married a young city dweller, Burton Landis, also a church member. Despite the cruel disappointment that Eunice faced in marriage, she remained faithful to her unworthy husband and managed to raise her children for the Lord. This book will be very useful for readers of our time, when divorces among God’s children, to great regret, are becoming almost as common as in the sinful world.
