The book you are now holding in your hands came into being thanks to the efforts of a person whose kind heart was touched by the story of a Christian woman named Eunice, who worthily endured many severe trials in her life. Miervaldis Dreyers, a parishioner of the First Baptist Church in Sacramento, read this book by Isabella Alden in English. Much in it caused direct associations with how relationships in some Christian families are still unfairly and unrighteously built. And although more than a hundred years have passed since the described events, the situations and many details were recognizable.
