Isabella Alden
Isabella Alden (pen name Pansy) was an American author who wrote over 100 Christian novels for youth and adults. Born in 1841 in New York, she became known for her spiritually rich and engaging storytelling, with popular series such as Ester Ried and Chautauqua Girls. In addition to her writing, she was actively involved in religious and educational work, edited children’s magazines, and supported the temperance movement. She passed away in 1930, leaving a lasting legacy in Christian literature.
