Happy New Year 2022!

New Year’s Eve is unusual as always,
We are so used to summarizing on this day.
We are thankful that God has kept us safe until now,
He has always been faithful to His promises.

He sends us His protection, His grace,
What in return, in gratitude to Him, can we give?
To open our hearts and let Jesus in,
To do and live according to the sacred Scriptures.

The year has passed, flown by and now it’s gone into eternity.
Here comes the New Year, ahead – infinity….
We make plans, cherish big dreams
We want happiness, love, beauty.

And in God, again, we put our trust,
His wisdom and knowledge from the Scriptures
To guide us on our way to heaven, to the wondrous city,
I’ll be glad to meet His saints.

On New Year’s Eve, I wish you all happiness,
With a choir of angels, I wish to praise Him,
May the house be filled with warmth and comfort,
Let joy, happiness and peace dwell in it.

And of course also: endless love,
The garden is blooming and the nightingales are singing,
And peace and tranquility in the soul,
And abundance in all things, a river of abundance.
